NEW VISION, SAME MISSION
Marion Academy will implement in addition to current curriculum a focus on Farm to Table/Agricultural Science courses incorporating project-based learning. Students will be engaged in growing a school wide organic garden. They will work in teams construct/ prepare their garden to produce healthy vegetables. They will be challenged to experiment to determine the best methods and practices. As produce is harvested, students will sell the produce to the community.

•7th-12th Offer a dedicated Agriculture Class.
•Continue w/ organic garden, projects, etc.
The MA Development Task Force will:
•Develop the plan for the focus on Agriculture Science and begin grant applications process/
•Develop a 3-5 year plan.
•Begin reaching out to foundations, businesses & associations to contribute knowledge, materials and funding.
